After many hours and days of hand quilting, this very heavy and very warm quilt for my husband is complete. The batting is a washable wool blend and the backing is flannel. I made the quilt top with a mix of a fabric panel, fussy cutting, foundation paper piecing, and pieced quilt blocks. There is also lots of love woven throughout. The finished product makes my husband very happy and that was the point!
My current projects include a dark blue quilt for my grandson, stationed in Alaska, table toppers and more. I will upload some pictures in another post.
