Just a little about me – I am a writer because I write every day, according to what I have heard. Also, I studied writing in college and before and after. I have never published a book. Yet.

My intention here is to post experiences, thoughts, information, and/or insights, about my interests, distractions, and anything else I think someone else may find interesting.

Some of my interests and hobbies, aside from writing, include: quilting; chalk painting furniture; paper crafting; drawing; painting; reading; photography; light gardening (I like to have pretty flowers in the yards and in the house but I don’t always enjoy the work that goes with all that,) and researching my family genealogy, to name a few off the top of my head. I can become interested in almost anything … like … quantum physics, astronomy, religion, magic, nature, history, almost any origin story of almost anything … pretty much any shiny thing can distract me and get my interest. I do not consider myself to be an expert in anything, but I enjoy learning and trying things.

My loves include: my children; my grandchildren; my husband; all of my family; my dear friends; and my cat. Except for my cat and the beloved cats no longer with us, my family and friends are personal and private, and so I will not discuss them on this site. It has been my long-time observation that the world is a happier place when unsolicited information and opinions remain unsaid and private. There are times and places to express those things, but this is not the place, at any time.

Any spam will be reported promptly and deleted as it is most unwelcome here, and I suspect, many other places as well.

If I do write something you find informative, interesting, or entertaining, or that piques your interest, then I am very pleased. Appropriate comments are most welcome.
